Covid Update

Hello Emerald Life Residents, Family Members, and visitors,

We are sure you are keeping up to date with the current Omicron movement throughout Western Australia which we know is moving quickly and predicted to peak over the next week.

We are receiving updates daily from the Government agencies, Department of Health and our peak bodies, LASA and ACSA particularly around 'preparedness' for Covid in residential care. We can assure you we are as prepared as we can be for any outbreak. We continue to be viligant in our approach with all staff, visitors, and contractors with daily RAT's for all.

We have had several staff in isolation related to their family members who have tested positive to Covid. This has led to some staffing pressures with several staff working double shifts to ensure we are able to continue to deliver care and ensure wellbeing for your loved ones.

Entry and Access

While we understand it may be frustrating having to wait at the front door and your RAT results, we ask that you remain patient, knowing staff are doing their best to attend to you as soon as possible.

All visitors and contractors are required to have RAT test prior to entering Emerald Life.

Residents are permitted 2 visitors per day for the purpose of care and support visits.
